LAS VEGAS, NV – Early voting kicked off in Nevada on Saturday, October 17th, and will run through Friday, October 30th. This weekend broke records for voter turnout in Nevada, with votes mailed, dropped off, and taken in person.

Annette Magnus, Executive Director of Battle Born Progress, said:

“It is thrilling and encouraging to see so many Nevadans making their voices heard this election. With two weeks of early voting, Election Day, and ballots coming in by mail still left to go, I think Nevada is poised to break even more records for voter turnout. The more people who participate, the healthier our democracy is. We encourage all Nevadans who have yet to make a plan to vote to join their family, friends, and neighbors in casting their ballot in this critically important election. We look forward to seeing every eligible vote counted.”

“To help Nevada voters, we’ve produced two information-packed guides to help voters complete their ballot and discover the voting method that’s right for them: Vote Smart NV and the Nevada Ballot Guide. We’re working hard to ensure our network and community have access to this information at their fingertips to make voting even easier.”

About Battle Born Progress’ Resources for Voters:

VoteSmartNV.org displays the candidates for each office on the 2020 ballot, with their unedited answers, or lack thereof, to survey questions about key issues affecting Nevadans. This nonpartisan voter guide is now also available in Spanish, Tagalog, Mandarin, Korean, Vietnamese, to make voting information accessible to Nevadans of whom English is not their first language.

In addition, NevadaBallotGuide.com provides our recommendations for each of the five 2020 Ballot Questions. Battle Born Progress supports a straight-’yes’ on all five.
