CARSON CITY, NV — Following today’s resignation of Nevada Senate Majority Leader Kelvin Atkinson, Battle Born Progress Executive Director Annette Magnus released the following statement:
“We are deeply disappointed in Majority Leader Atkinson’s actions; Nevadans, especially Atkinson’s constituents, deserve better than this. We are thankful that Atkinson decided to make the right decision for the people of Nevada and resign. We hope the Nevada State Senate works swiftly to ensure that the people of Senate District 4 are represented and get back to doing the people’s business this legislative session.”
